Pours a hazy amber with notes of bready malt that then goes into a sweet fruit driven note. Gives the flavor of a fruit like bread. Lingering finish. Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 16, 2011
12 oz. bottle, 2010 vintage, consumed May 2011. Pours mostly clear to very lightly hazy, dark orange amber in color. Rapidly effervescing streams of micro-bubbles scream towards the surface. A thick, spongy head of off-white foam slowly shrinks to an ever lasting layer with a pronounced edge, leaving dense, foamy, jagged-bottomed rings of lacing all over the glass. The nose is an utter spice bomb, loaded with notes of rose petals, hibiscus, coriander, and raw ginger, amongst other perfumy, floral spices. Beneath all that, a malty base of candied blonde and brown sugar looms, sweet and saccharine, with just a touch of floral hop character. Flavors follow suit, massively sweet, yet simultaneously bitter from all of the intense floral spicing. Coriander is overzealous, as is the minty-peppery ginger and stewed hibiscus flowers. After the swallow, I’m left with a mouth full of bitter, biting spices. Yuck! The palate is massively sugar laden, sweet, sticky, and cloying. Carbonation is soft and airy, but it can’t save this brew from its seemingly infinite flaws. Borderline drain pour. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2011

Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Aroma of spice, light fruits, spice, caramel, brown cookies. Flavour of spice, ripe fruits, alcohol, caramel. Medium bodied. Ends on a fruity and alcoholdense note. Not really my thing. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2011
Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours golden with a slight haze and a tiny off-white head. Blueberry aroma - strange. Solid body, sweet fruit and sweet malts. A little yeast. Warming alcohol. Doesn’t really have much Quad character at all. 270411 KajII (800) - Macon, North Carolina, USA - APR 25, 2011
Bottle. Poured a dark amber/orange with a small fizzy white head that was fully diminishing and had poor lacing. The aroma was of light grain malts, a mild citrus hop and a sweet belgian yeast with notes of banana, apricot, corriander, maple syrup and had a mild alcohol tinge. It tasted moderatley sweet with hints of banana, citrus and corriander from the begining and stayed pretty much throughout with the finish having just a little sourness to it. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and syrupy and creamy in texture with a flat carbonation. Overall all it was a good tasting brew that did a great job of concealing the high ABV, although it was just a little sweet for my taste.
