Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Plovmand. Pours golden with a slight haze and a tiny off-white head. Blueberry aroma - strange. Solid body, sweet fruit and sweet malts. A little yeast. Warming alcohol. Doesn’t really have much Quad character at all. 270411

Dull amber. The aroma is spicy (astringent coriander) and fairly yeasty. Malty, a little bit gluey, sweet with cinnamon and other spices in the background. Not particularly refined. A drinkable beer, though, that would be better if it was a bit lighter. jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2011

Bottle from Liz. Pours copper with a very slight white head. Aroma is yeasty/dusty. Med body. Flavor is sort of barley wine/roast malt - with some brown sugar (barley wine?). There’s some citrus and some yeast/spice. Perhaps a bit floral. I call this Belgian barley wine. Very different. So it takes some getting used to - and I have. Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear amber - white head. Candy, ryebread, phenols, marzipan, berries, caramel, light wheaty notes, oxidation. Plain Quad. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop, opened 5/11/12. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a large frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of apple, stone fruits, bread and tinny notes. The taste is citrus, apples, bread, caramel. Intensely fruity, almost like a cider, and really not what I was expecting at all. Medium bottled. Cloying.
