750 ml bottle from the Beer Authority.

Pours a murky gold with a fluffy nearly-white head. Aroma is sour, a touch of funk, ample oak, pepper. The flavor brings a wonderful combination of brett, lemon juice, and grapefruit. Not aggressively sour, but definitely a tart saison with plenty of wild character to make it decidedly interesting and absolutely nothing like your typical higher ABV American clove esterbomb saisons. Super delicious, and itís still at fridge temperature. Iím eager to see how this develops as it warms. Excellent beer.

tl;dr summary: Complex and rewarding bretty saison is worth the price.

Bottle: The aroma consists of florals, musty funk, oak, and hay. It pours a transparent dull gold with three finger that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with a mild citrus and brett. The finish has light-moderate florals, lemon peel, must, and oak. Itís light bodied with moderate-lively carbonation.

750 mL bottle. Big white head that lasts forever. Hazy yellow body. Smell is grassy and bretty. Light lemony brightness. Heavy brett flavor, too. Sweet pale malt. Bitter grassiness. Some oak and almost a white wine flavor. Way too carbonated. Gotta do a lot of swirling to make it drinkable. Medium light body. Pretty good, except for the over-carbonation.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque yellow / blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of oak and mixed wild yeasts. Flavour is complex, with oak, wild yeast and a little funk. Cohesive, complex and barrel-driven. Really nice stuff.
