Bottle, provided by the ever helpful OleR. It’s a quite dark golden beer, crystal clear, and topped by a small white head. Almost butterscotchy aroma, toffeeish with a fruity touch. The butterscotch is surely present in the mouth too, with toffee and fruityness taking over rather quickly. Hints of bitterness. Really fizzy in the mouth, medium body and quite dry. Caramel, fruits and some bitterness in the finish. This is by far the most uninteresting of the three Hønefoss beers, a real diacetyl bomb. Had bigger diacetyl bombs though. (090818)

330ml bottle from Fenaknoken in Oslo. Golden body, a bit cloudy. Patchy surface. Pale malty to the nose. Shortage of taste, just some hints of corn and grain, and hard water. Brief bitter endnotes. Lively carbonated, but still a tame and bland impression (shared with Eva, Tromsø 17.10.2009, rating no. 2700).

Bottle. Pours weak golden, with a 1 " white firm head. Weak malty aroma, paired with weaker hops. Refreshing malty taste base, pity there is not much hop here, but enough to make this a good thirst quencher.

Small white head quickly disappears. Yellow body. Licorice aroma, very faint. Dryish licorice mealy taste with papery watery notes. Fizzy, watery mouthfeel. Faintly oily. Dryish papery mealy aftertaste with perfumy notes. No reason to buy this. Ɛ.33l bottle from KnutAlbert.)
