Small white head quickly disappears. Yellow body. Licorice aroma, very faint. Dryish licorice mealy taste with papery watery notes. Fizzy, watery mouthfeel. Faintly oily. Dryish papery mealy aftertaste with perfumy notes. No reason to buy this. Ɛ.33l bottle from KnutAlbert.) Sigmund (7496) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 4, 2009
330 ml bottle, thanks to OleR. Brewed for Hønefoss Brygghus, Norway, by Krönleins Bryggeri, Sweden. ABV is 4.7%. One has to accept that Hønefoss Brygghus is another "brewhouse" that does not brew (the slogan "Drink locally" is thus ridiculous) , but why on earth do they commission a pale lager in the Norwegian style "sommerøl", contract brewed by mediocre Krönleins? Norwegian macro breweries have plenty of boring "sommerøl", there is absolutely no need for another one. HB’s Juleøl (a stout brewed by Det Lille Bryggeriet) was decent, this one is not undrinkable, but certainly no masterpiece. The recommendation on the label "To be drunk ice cold" gives you some idea about what to expect. Deep golden colour, much darker than other "sommerøl", moderate white head. Sweetish unpleasant aroma, typical Swedish macro. Notes of artificial candy and rotting vegetables. The flavour is fortunately much better than the aroma, some moderate malts and hops are around, and the beer is not too sweet. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 11, 2009
Fairly standard lager. More packaging than content here, I’m afraid.
The label says world class, I don’t know about that. Some malty sweetness, flowery hops. But not much. Beer5000 (6489) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2013
330 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Weak in aroma, hint of caramel malt. Weak in flavor, hint of caramel and fruit, little bitterness. Thin body and aggressive carbonation. Short in aftertaste. Not very interesting. visionthing (5363) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 6, 2013
33cl from Meny Vollebekk. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of vegetables, fruits and caramel. Sweet and grainy with a light bitterness. Fairly light body. Finishes lightly hoppy and bitter. Easy to drink and refreshing. (Ikke akkurat helt konge, men faktisk helt grei!)

0.33l bottle courtesy of Mari & Ina. This is a clear golden one with a small quickly sidesticking off-white head. Smells sweet and grainy. Some corn and a bit of wet toasted skunk. Not too good in other words. On the carbonation it’s soft to average and it has a light oily to watery mouthfeel. The taste also kinda sweet and grainy. Floral tones with metallic flower water and a light skunky background. Ends with a clear metallic aftertaste. Not the best beer by so, but still many thanks for the bottle! 25.08.2012 OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2009
0.33 L bottle from Rema 1000 Hønefoss. A shiny blond head resting on a gold colored body with good clarity. Light sweet, light buttery malt aroma. Hints of hayish hops. Taste is medium sweet, far from fresh malty, with some noticable earthy hops down below. Light, well carbonated body.
Faint caramal and a slight bitterness in the finish. Mediocre.
