Bottle, shared at game night. Deep golden amber, long legs. Lovely rich sticky honey backbone, waxy comb, sweet figs, light smoke, earthy nuances, light fruit acidity. Really great for a sweet mead.

On tap at 101 Beer Kitchen Gahanna on 9/1/15. Dirty amber pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet honey and dark fruit. Sweet honey flavor with a tangy and bitter fig finish. Some lingering booziness.

Clear bottle. This one is a sweet mead, definite notes of fig but for a sweeter one it is nicely drinkable.

By far the best mead Ive like to date. Nice clear light copper. Very nice smokey aroma. Unique smell of something youve never smelt. Smooth sweet honey taste with some acid/tartness to match. very balanced and not overly sweet. Rich dark fruit taste with the medium sweet honey. Cinnaman caramel apples.I really like this as my favorate mead so far. Havent had alot but this kills most of what Ive tried so far.

Im not sure what the other reviews for this one were drinking but man I liked this mead. Really unique smokey taste with light fig flavor and nice herbal honey. A bit thin to be world class but I loved it.
