Just ok, was hoping for more. Pours a clear Amber with no head. Smells of pepper, cherry and rye. Taste is a little watery with cherry and pepper, and a slightly strange, cough syrup-like finish. Had on tap at the brewery. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 4, 2016
A reddish copper ale with very thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, almost Barley Wine like, grassy floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with loads of alcohol warmth, treacle, resinous floral hops, nice. On tap at brewery. Travlr (25767) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Draft at the source. Clear amber color, thin tan head. Aroma of caramel and light butterscotch. Taste is peppery burnt caramel. Tasty.
