Rye not? Thats what we said when we decided to amp up our Rye Pale Ale. This Imperial Rye has a deep amber color and boasts aromas of pear and stone fruit. Carmel and roast notes balances out the spicy rye flavors.
Just ok, was hoping for more. Pours a clear Amber with no head. Smells of pepper, cherry and rye. Taste is a little watery with cherry and pepper, and a slightly strange, cough syrup-like finish. Had on tap at the brewery.
A reddish copper ale with very thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, almost Barley Wine like, grassy floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with loads of alcohol warmth, treacle, resinous floral hops, nice. On tap at brewery.
