COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth and full bodied American style golden ale brewed with U.S. grown pilsner and white wheat malts, and hops sourced from the finest Washington and Oregon hop farms. A long and cold fermentation with a Bavarian yeast strain lends a clean and smooth flavor, accentuated by small herbal and citrus tones from the hops, and is rounded out by a bread like malt character. Hoppier than some other golden ale, this ale is a throwback to the flavorful American ales that would have existed before prohibition.

$2.00 can, Beer Run. Pours clear golden with a half-inch of white head. Smells of wet dog, grainy cereal - perhaps a dog food/kibble aroma. Flavor is grainy - it tastes like the way dog food smells. Also has flavors of cardboard, grass, earth, minor minor minor citrus. Pass.

10/16/16. Had with two other of their beers and this was the worst, but that’s not saying much. Golden pour with a small white head. Grainy bland aroma, malty, grassy, just... off. Same on the flavor, bitter, grainy, pennies... not good.

Easy drinking inoffensive but pretty much forgettable blonde. With that style, drinkable is about what you’re looking for.

kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 14, 2016
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a small frothy white head. The nose is soft bready maltiness with just a minimal hint of leafy hoppiness. The flavor is a bit bland, but I suppose that is no surprise for a golden ale. Soft bready and doughy maltiness, minimal bitterness in the middle. A light lingering slight chemical like note on the finish. Light bodied and soft on the palate with gentle carbonation. Actually this was a little better than I was expecting.

axl (1094) - Lund, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2016
Draft. Clear golden with white head. Aroma of sweet malts, almost spicy herbs, citrus and orange. Taste is initially citrus fading over into more sweet lemon notes and ending in soft and sweet maltiness. Smooth medium mouthfeel, light carbonation and sweet malty aftertaste with light citrus fruitiness.

Aurelius (5590) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2016
Standard longneck, poignant label. Misty maplewood blonde beer, big beady head. Powdery foam aroma followed by a vanilla, cakey maltiness. Crisp but malty, perhaps a little over carbonated. Moderate bitterness, very slight astringency. Medium to slightly light body. Fair enough. ABC Liquors, Betton.

chinchill (5346) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 12, 2016
From a 12 oz bottle.
Fine looking white head with limited retention over a pale golden body.
Weak aroma with a stronger and more hoppy flavor. Leaves little flavor except a mild and earthy bitterness.
