3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
I am perplexed by this beer. I tasted it first and came to ratebeer looking for the style of this beer and thought for sure it was a saison. I can not imagine this beer being anything else. It is unfiltered, with a light orange body, heavily carbonated, and larged bubbled, quickly diminishing, white head. The smells like a typical belgian sour ale with components of sweet candy apples, oranges, and a slight white pepper. It tastes like a light belgian sour as well. It has a slight sweet/sour thing going on with components of sour orange and lemons as well as a slight tannic graininess. The body is very light and watery with prickly carbonation. Overall, a very unexpected beer.
Sweet grain with mild hop notes. Medium bodied golden hued ale. Not something I’d want a full pint of. mcberko (18950) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 30, 2015
On tap at Hood Canal, pours a hazy pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light floral notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly herbal, with floral notes and biscuity malt. Very restrained and clean enough. Boring but okay. Ferris (16498) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2015
Draft - Buttery notes, grains and pale malts. Hazy gold with a decent white head. Biscuit malts and a light hop bitterness. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle:   Orangish straw, slight haze, moderate fizzy white head, sparce lacing.   Pale mealy and bready aroma.   For some reason it kind of reminds me of many of the micros back in the early 90s.   Mild sweetness on the tongue, bready, some sweet grass, perhaps even a little doughy.   Has this very dull/soft floral aspect.   Not sure what this is supposed to be.   As it warms it becomes a bit grainy.   Feels very cereal like.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Semi-sweet grassy and cereal like finish.   Not bad, but very plain.   Reminds me of many startup brands in the early 90s... not sure why. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 10, 2010

On tap at the brewery in Kingston, WA--(I am pretty certain this is not a spice/herb/vegetable beer) Poured a light golden-straw body with a medium white head. The least offensive beer in the tasting tray. Grainy and mildly fruity nose with a sharply carbonic floral crisp and dry body. Finished clean and sessionable. robforbes (2266) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2008
