COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
He was last seen this summer outside of Austin Street Brewery in Portland, ME. With no known sightings since, his overwhelmingly fruity scent has become nothing more than a lingering memory to those who’ve nuzzled with this cuddly curiosity. Recently, however, there have been frequent reports of this stuff’d Man-Bear in Marengo, OH. First he left a trail of Mosaic. Calypso hops soon followed. Then the big break...he was spotted from afar squatting over a large pile of Australian Vic Secret, but by the time we arrived on the scene there was nothing left but whole-cone hops and multiple tufts of bear stuffing. What is he trying to tell us?

Tasting from THE tasting. Light hops with some sweetness and low malt. Nice overall.

Pour at the Marengo facility on 11/12/17. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, lemon, tropical fruit and grapefruit. Malt and lemon flavor tropical fruit accents before a grapefruit finish. Tried a can of it a couple days later and prefer the draft. The can tasted more aggressively bitter, taking away from the bright fruitiness of the beer. This rating is based on the draft version, which I tried first.

Can from Cappy's pour hazy light gold with large white head. Nose citrus, macerated fruit, light powder, some grass and earthy. Taste light bitter up front, fruit, some banana. Grainy malt mid. Light bitter finish.

Can recently gifted, thanks for the treat, no discernible date, but I believe a few months old, pours a nice hazy burnt orange color with some particles sinking to bottom, nose is nice with ruby red grapefruit undertones, good juicy fruit with some mango as well, mouthfeel is really pleasant light bodied, not bitter, fresh squeezed juice taste, some trace of distant banana at end, good stuff in this can, very enjoyable

Thanks Ryan for sharing the can! Poured into a snifter showing cloudy whitish yellow with no head. The nose shows bready malt. The palate is medium bodied and highly carbonated. Strong alcoholic spice with moderately intense flavours of pine and papaya and a slightly stronger sharp IPA bitterness on the finish.

This beer pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of juicy citrus, floral hops and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Hazy golden-orange body, medium sized white head, and decent soapy lacing. Pineapple, peach, and grapefruit...a hair on the sweet side, but fairly tasty. Medium bodied, moderate sweetness and bitterness, soft carbonation, rounded finish.

From notes. Enjoyed at a tasting Kyle finally made it to at Mickey’s on December 01. 16 oz can. The pour is a lightly hazier golden yellow with a thin cap of white head that leaves a little bit of lace on the glass. The aroma is nice. There is a big blast of citrus and leafy hops right up front. There is a light tropical fruit that rolls through and offers a good balance. There is a little bitterness, but it’s mostly big and juicy. The flavor is much of the same. Bog tropical fruits and a light citrus with a leafy hop and a touch of resinous bitterness. The mouth feel is a little light, but crisp and well carbonated with a nice lingeringly fruity and bitter finish. Solid brew.
