I’ll Have What She’s Having is the latest in our list of Double IPA’s. Similar in most respects to Konkey Dong, this DIPA primarily consists of South African hop varieties.

Southern Passion: a diploid seedling originating from Saaz and Hallertauer crossing. Fruity, notes of passion fruit, and slightly spicy.

African Queen: This unique hop’s profile is a balance between a fruity taste and traditional bitterness, with a tropical and citrus aroma.

Can at Whaleageddon. Pours cloudy light orange-ish yellow with a white head which soon recedes. Aroma is grapefruit and tropical fruits. Taste is tropical fruit sweet, mango sweet, caramel sweet, artificial orange bon bon sweet. Low to no bitterness.

Thanks Matt for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing cloudy whitish yellow with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows a lot of dank cannabis and papaya. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Strong flavors of dank cannabis with barely any bitterness. Lightly sweet malts on mid-palate mix well with the beer. Wow, this is good .

Shared by beerbeggar. 16oz can. The hops are just horrid in this - poopy, aresol pine, old hops. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Maybe it’s just me but this was undrinkable.

16 oz. can purchased at Spruce Creek Provisions, Kittery. Bright cloudy yellow with lasting head and leasing down the sides of the glass. Aroma is a a medley for tropical fruit ( pineapple, cantaloupe, stone fruit )

Flavor is a juice bomb. Again, pineapple, stone fruit, cantaloupes, and melon pulp. Bitterness is moderate pine with a good amount of sweet malt. Texture is juicy, juicy, juicy! Maybe a little sweet? Hell no! This is a juice bomb. And it is 8.5 %... Could have fooled me. Drinks very easy. I am headed for a second can.

Can thanks to Chad. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is grass, melon, mango. Medium body, melon, citrus, pine, juicy, light finish.

16 oz. can via trade. This one pours a really hazy dull gold fruit juice looking color with two fingers of frothy white head that settles into an uneven film and ring, with some trailing ropes of lace in the glass. Super juicy aroma, with big orange and mango and pineapple and melon. Fruity ans juicy. Sweet doughy malts. Pine and herbs. Medium-plus bodied, with modest carbonation and a sweet, juicy mouthfeel that has a bit of sharpness on the finish. Just a wee bit too sweet but a pretty fun beer overall.

Hazy orange body, medium to large white head, soapy lacing. Fruity, candied tropicals and stonefruits. Light biscuity malt creeps in. Medium bodied, mellow carbonation, assertive bitterness, mild sweetness, and slight warming alcohol in the finish.

Hazy pour with massive tropical catpiss as last rater pointed out. Very creamy on the tongue, extremely crushable. Very fruity. Very NE. Very good.

Can from Steve. Thanks. Poured properly into my Schlitz Malt Liquor ceramic mug (see link for pic). Aroma of some tropical piss fruit. 10/10 on the diabetes scale, overwhelmingly sweet taste with a huge dose of tropical fruit. Medium carb, low bitterness but nice fruit expression. If it wasn’t a diabetes bomb, it would be good.

From the can. Pours a bright murky/turbid yellow, with a fluffy white head. Lot’s of lacing left on the glass. Big tropical fruit hops on the nose and some doughy bread. Taste is mango, kiwi, melon, light malts and bread. Drying finish. Light bitterness. No detection of alcohol. Delicious.
