3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has a dark amber color. Smell is malty, slightly sweet. Taste is also big on malts, some sweetness, very refreshing. Overall a good quality beer.
It had a light white color head that quickly faded out leaving no lacing behind. Its body was a deep amber color with very good clarity. The aroma had a light sweet malty character with just a hint of hops coming through. Its flavor was much the same as its aroma with a big malty body and some mild hops. Its texture is smooth with light carbonation, a medium body and a sweetish finish.

Whenever I drink a new beer, and do not have a computer available to me, I rate it on my iPod, and then come back and catalog it on the website. I drank this one 8 days ago, and forgot I had it in my system. So apparently I was not a fan. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - OCT 8, 2010
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a light brown color with no head and no aroma at all, the taste is very sweet with some hints of malt and touches of fruit to it but is very minimal, extremely boring and just not good, I wish I would have skipped on this mix pack.

Light brown color. Very light flavor and aroma, just a little sweet malt. Nothing here really. Thin, watery palate. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUL 13, 2010
Bottle; poured a brown/dark amber color with not much off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, caramel and maybe the faintest touch of roasted malt. Flavor was bland but ok; swet malt, fruit, earth and maybe nuts. Ok, but forgettable. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2010
The aroma has roasty malts, some smokiness, and a hint of vanilla. The appearance really shows both black and amber color mixed. The flavor is a bit bland with sweet notes, maltiness coming through the most. arminjewell (9687) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 14, 2010
Black and tan? Not sure how. Pour is red with white head, aroma is sweet caramel and a bit of roasted malt. Taste up front is sweet caramel and biscuity malt, leading into a tiny roast with a sweet finish. Okay, but not great. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2009
I poured this beer in to a pint glass to drink. It had a dark amber color with a big creamy tan head that had good cling and average retention. The aroma featured caramel malt and some earthy and grainy hops. The taste was sweet and malty with some light bitterness too. The beer was wet and a bit creamy with low carbonation, and fairly smooth and thin.
