Pours lightly pale golden with a small, frothy, white film head. Soft aroma, light caramel with fine hops. Low carbonation, but still rather bubbly/spritzy. Flavour is elegantly hoppy, light dryness, some apples and soft dryness. Fine.
Cask at The Elephant and Castle, Bloxham, Oxon, 29-03-09 Plenty of citrus hoppiness and some good maltiness in this beer. I can’t quite believe I’ve never rated it before when I’m convinced that I’ve had it plenty of times. Very moreish beer, I had three pints between Morris Dancing (its thirsty work yer’ know) Nicely bitter and I don’t know but it tasted so good for being that much closer to the brewery.
