Cask; Regular.
Officially launched May 2006 as a Spring seasonal called Gold. Name changed later to Hooky Gold.
A very pale, crisp beer, confidently displaying it’s hop character. The first Hook Norton beer to feature American hops. A fruity aroma and a pleasant, light taste.

Gravity cask at The Perch, Oxford. MacDowall’s wedding. Soapy bubbles, bright and clear amber gold. Nice amber malt nose. Mildly sweet sip, fairly astringent hop bittering. Nice bitter pale, nice cask character. A bit too astringent for my taste.

Draught (Castle Tavern, Oxford)
Nice sweet malty aroma. Light popped corn in the taste. Feels good in the mouth, fullish, but refreshing. Pleasantly crisp golden ale, really enjoyed, and it was on top form too.

Cask. Pale, zesty, very citrus-hoppy beer. Rather tart and astringent. Citrus-hoppy finish. Not really to my taste. (2008)

Pours a finger of head on a clear straw body. Aroma is lemon zest. Taste is a bit lemony bitter. Texture is fairly crisp.

On tap at a pub in Oxford. Fruity and malty smell. Similar taste. Noticeable bitterness but mellow. Doesn’t stand out.

Cask at Cockney Pub, Århus, as Hooky Norton Golden Ale, 4.8% ABV
Hazy blond color, thin creamy head. Grassy aroma, earthy; not strong but pleasant. Good dry toffee flavor, with good hopping, lightly fruity. Very pleasant.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2011
Cask. Pours an almost clear golden with a dense off-white head leaving excellent laces. A little sweet malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body, low carbonation, fruity and minerally with a dry and hoppy finish atop a light sweetness. A pleasant quaffer. 190111
