Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2014
500 ml bottle. Clear deep ruby copper, fine tan foam settles and lasts. Aroma is vinous fruity, malty. Taste is darker roast caramel/toffee malt, some dark fruitiness, slightly nutty, no bitterness. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, low hopped. Lighter Christmas fare in September. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

ThirstyBird (2953) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2014
Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. The smell is molasses, caramel, dark fruit. The taste follows the nose, with some dark malt sweetness with some roast and slightly dry ending. The body is medium with average carbonation.
