Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. The smell is molasses, caramel, dark fruit. The taste follows the nose, with some dark malt sweetness with some roast and slightly dry ending. The body is medium with average carbonation.

A highly sessionable beer. Not too much in the way of aromas, but a well balanced taste of malt and hops, that refreshingly carries right through the palate.

This beer is a gorgeous dark brown with a lingering off white head. Smells off coffee and even some pine. The coffee carries over on the palate with a bitter bite at the end. Lovely beer

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalizig, fruchtig, Kaffee. Geschmack schokoladig, röstmalzig, leicht bitter, hopfig, Kaffee.

Very nice dark beer. Tastes like a Guinness stepped up a notch in complexity and intensity - delicious for those cold winter nights.

Bottle, 500ml. A deep ruby colour with a small head. Aroma is barely detectable, but there’s some roasted malt and hop notes. Flavour is malty with brown sugar, chocolate malt, biscuit, citric hops. A moderately bitter finish. High carbonation. Nice enough but not very exciting.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - APR 28, 2014
Pours out of the bottle in a deep brown colour with low steady head and smooth body. Aroma of hops and bread. Taste of hops, light malt, nuts, caramel, vanilla and straw. Smooth finish. Nice beer.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Mild and hoppy with a slightly bitter aftertaste, Definitely drinkable with a bit of citrus in the back. To recommend.
