Twelve Days is a dark brown strong beer brewed for Christmas. A finely balanced ale, lightly hopped with a strong malt and nutty flavor. The strength gives the beer a smooth lingering aftertaste. A definite ale to savour.

Poured dark brown color with an average frothy white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good moderate chocolate, spice and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and soft texture. Moderate bittersweet flavor with with a moderate bittersweet finish of average duration.

A dark clear brown ale with a thick brown head. In aroma, dark fruits, roasted coffee beans, burned caramel, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth bitter chocolate with dark fruits, light molasses, light coffee, quite nice, given this is more than 3 years old. Tasted with GRM, Probstk, and Mike H., Oct. 8 2010.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Deep mahogany coloured body with an initially huge beige head that stayed for a while leaving fragile lacework behind. Malt-fruity aroma, mid-sweet and mid-dry. Nicely roasted malty taste of nuts and caramel. Dark fruits beneath. Bittersweet ending with a pleasant touch of resin. Fine bodied. A likable malty beer enjoyed on a Saturday eve at home in Tromsø 04.01.2014.

bottled - dark brown colour, almost no foam but a nice lacing, prune and wood in the nose, a bit nutty, sweet and full-bodied, the finish is malty, long with a touch of chocolate
