UPDATED: JAN 31, 2011 Cask conditioned handpump Crosse Keys London. A mahogany coloured beer with a little off-white coloured head. A boozy sweetish aroma with caramel notes, as well as some nuts and raisins. The taste is similar. Nice wintery fruits and some coal. A good length and a very tasty beer. Cask at the Moon under Water, Hounslow. Near black with a lasting beige head. Lightly plummy nose with hints of cocoa and roast coffee. Rich and creamy textured, dry-sweet and roasty-fruity. Finishes burnt-sweet and dry roasty bitter. Delicious. thewolf (12940) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2008
Cask at Charlies Bar, Cph. Pours deep chestnut brown with a nice, small, creamy, beige head. Great duration. Soft aroma, light prunes and chocolate. Low carbonation, lovely creamy mouthfeel - lightly prickly. Nice flavour. Lots of chocolate, fruitiness, sweet malts, toffee. Finishes with a great amount of dryness with roasted malts, cloves and good, flowery hoppiness. Lovely. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 18, 2010

Ice Wharf, Camden, London. Rubyish brown colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, chocolate, some nuttyness as well as some hints of fruits and some earthy notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Nutty and caramelly finish.
I love Hook Norton beers and Twelve Days might be my overall favorite. Its got lots of sweet dark fruit flavor notes and richness.

On cask at Porterhouse. Appearance: dark cloudy plum/raisin with a medium dirty white head. Aroma: Sour, rhubarb & cherry, a little lactose with grass and dark fruits and chocolate . Flavour: dark chocolate, a little of the tartness I got in the aroma present, cherry and chocolate, hint of chicory, coffee, good bitterness and tartness in the finish. Quite lovely. harrisoni (19536) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2007
Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. I’ve had this in bottle so wanted to try it on cask. Looks in cracking condition. Very deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Flavour of rich malt liquorice. It really is rather good. Aroma has some sour dark fruits. Good in mouth. Slightly sweet to balance the sour fruit. Nice hop kick on the finish. Warming English winter beer. Good stuff jlhooker (125) - Dublin, Ireland, IRELAND - JAN 9, 2013
