Cask; Special - July 2010.

A pale copper coloured wheat beer, bursting with summery flavours. A blend of continental hops give a soft bitterness balanced by a floral hoppy finish and then rounded off with an orangey citrus afterpalate. This is guaranteed to slip down a treat.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and elderflowers as well as lighter notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, anisseed, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, anisseed. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100804]

Cask at the Red Lion, Isleworth, Bank Holiday Festival, 27th August 2010. Pale amber. Clove, orange peel and frankincense nose. Quite fresh initial taste for this strength but then hefty stewed fruit flavours come through. Weight is good - not heavy but robust.

[3267-20100803] Cask sample. Sweet honey-like grass aroma mixed with an odd potpourri floral note. Clear, medium orange body with a quick foamy white head. More fruity honey in the flavour with potpourri hops and an odd fruity aftertaste. Medium body. Really? A wheat beer? That’s weird.

[email protected] Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, earth, some mild bisquity notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same with also some mild honeyish notes. I think it hides it’s wheat rather well...

Cask at GBBF 2010. A very pale copper colour with a very thin white head. Loads of spices in the aroma with more than a hint of fruit. The taste is all fruit and wheat.

jercraigs (10731) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2010
2010-08-03. Crisp golden amber body with a small beige head. Flavour is very mild, muted grainy touches, light bitterness. Odd aroma, lightly grainy, something odd. Average palate. This is not lovely. Bit strange. Cask at GBBF 2010
