Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A deep brown to black colour with a frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, nuts and subtle coffee. Taste of roasted malts, milk chocolate, coffee, nuts and some smokiness. Medium bodied and a smooth texture. A smooth, roasted malt finish. A nice, smooth, drinkable stout. Basic flavours but overall tasty.

Bottle at home. Pours a red-black colour with a tight head. Aroma of rich, roasted malt and coffee. Taste is slightly sweet, then nicely dry and bitter. More dry bitterness to follow with a dusty, almost smoky feel. Plain and dry stout that is nonetheless satisfying. A very nice beer.

bottiglia. Ottima session stout. nGli aromi ci sono tutti caffé cioccolato liquerizia etc. si ripropongono in bocca delicatamente senza affaticare il palato che resta abbastanza pulito grazie a note amare secche. A me piace
