Bottle. Musty smell. Black. Not much head. Thin flavour disappoints. Pretty poor really, why bother? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Morrisons, pours a deep rich dark brown which is almost black with small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, slight woodsmoke, light dark fruits and a touch of chocolate. Taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter, long lasting finish. Smooth and slightly slick though thin feel in the mouth. A nice stout.

jamaty (2258) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 14, 2015
Marrón muy oscura casi negra. Un dedo de espuma beige. Aroma a humo, algo rancio al principio. Cuerpo medio algo acuosa. Sabor muy agradable, primero ahumada, pronto suave caramelo de toffe, para acabar seca con un postgusto amargo duradero.

Taste of roasted malts, milk chocolate, coffee, nuts and some smokiness. Medium bodied and a smooth texture. A smooth, roasted malt finish. A nice, smooth, drinkable stout. Basic flavours but overall tasty.

Bottle at home. Pours a red-black colour with a tight head. Aroma of rich, roasted malt and coffee. Taste is slightly sweet, then nicely dry and bitter. More dry bitterness to follow with a dusty, almost smoky feel. Plain and dry stout that is nonetheless satisfying. A very nice beer.
