Bottle 500ml. Tastes of chocolate, maybe liquorice, toffee. Surely, there is some sweetness which is quite well balanced with a bitterness. I did not notice any coffee flavour. I am just starting with stouts but untill now it is the best I have had, better than Guinness draught. It is very smooth, creamy, medium-bodied and very slightly carbonated. Also made by clean ingredients (no isinglass etc). Great for a cold winter evening. Definitely will have it again.

Cask @ Cloisters. Very cask/UK style (surprise), old leather, paper thin body (although a slightly creamy mf somehow), low head, a somewhat incongruous bitter aftertaste, earthy. Not 4 me.

Black beer, thin head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and malt, a bit of liquourice. Taste has a bit of the same, some tangy fruit, earthy malt. Flavour is quite light but it’s not watery. Solid.

Choco malty smell and taste with a bit of toast. Was suddenly struck with the aroma of dog food while drinking, though I promise this is more appetizing than that sounds. Watery, but decent for what it is.

Psytron (2564) - Turku, FINLAND - MAY 20, 2017
From cask at Beer Hunters. Sweet smell of candy. Cola colour, tiny head. Aroma of sweet malt, sugar, some ash and tar. Mildly sweet, medium bitter. Light body, no carbon.

Bottle from a now unrecalled source. Poured very dark brown with a tan coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and vanilla. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, soft carbonation.

Pint at the Healey rochdale. Good blackness full bodied. Touch of caramel. Tar and ash decent enough stout.

BeardedAvenger (1277) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2016
Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. Aroma - a vague hay/yeast. A dark, ruby tinted, brown. Scant beige head. Sweet, with a whisp of bitterness. Smooth mothfeel, a tad light. Malt, chocolate, liqourice. Nice enough.
