A real hop-feast of a beer! Two English and two Continental hops give a very satisfying bitter yet flowery palate. Maize, wheat and barley malts combine with the hops to yield a very soft flavoursome pale thirst quenching ale.

[Cask at the Hop Leaf, Reading] Pours a very pale gold with a small but lasting head. Tastes of damp straw and green leaves with a hint of bitter citrus. Some sharpness too. Aftertaste iis very dry and bitter, too much so for my liking. Wouldn’t have this again.

[email protected] Golden colour, small white heaqd. Aroma is hops, quite much hayish notes as well as grassy dryness. Flavour is hops, grass and some mild yeasty notes ending in a bunch of citrusfruity notes.

Cask at GBBF 2008. Gold colour with a medium white head. Light grassy aromas with some hoppy notes. The beer finishes with a clear light dry taste.

Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet fruity with mild caramel notes. Flavor likewise with mild hops kicking in towards the end.

Tossco bottle. Yellowy urine pour misty with bits. Dissipating white lid. Struck matches, musty green hop, spliff and lime jelly aroma. I’m getting a powerful gust of Goldings as it approaches room temp. Bathfoam, grass and corn in the mouth, pleasantly citrussy but crying out for some added hop bite. Maize and mealy malt the most assertive flavours here. With a big lick of soapdish. Refreshing, but sos Corona or Sprite.

500ml bottle from Tesco. I would agree with the comment below about soapiness, which dominated this beer for me. Pale gold in colour with no head but a fair bit of carbonation. Aroma of oriental spice and lemony hops. Flavour was sweetish with plenty more spicy hops and a soap dish finish. Almost very good, but not quite.

500ml bottle from some supermarket somewhere, Tesco I think. BCA. Pale gold with lasting this white head. Lovely lemongrass hop aroma. Lovely citrus flavour. Bit soapy isnt it? Still, its pretty good.

Cask @ some Soho pub, London.
Pours lightly hazy yellow with a small, frothy white head. Fine duration. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy, mostly pine and grapefruit. Low carbonation with a nice mouthfeel. Flavour is wonderfully hoppy, fruity and floral and quite dry. Very refreshing.
