COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Terrific straw-coloured beer with a fresh, hoppy aroma and a well rounded, malty flavour with an intense bitterness which leads to an excellent long, dry finish. Winner of numerous, prestigious awards, most notably Best Strong Bitter at The Great British Beer Festival in 1992/93.
Ingredients: Optic pale malt. East Kent Goldings and Challenger hops (The bottled version uses EKG only).

Really odd. Hard to describe this. My first thought was mouldy or musty but the more I drank it the more I understand the other review that described it as farmyard candy floss. innkeep suggests it's popular. Odd simply odd. Not sure I'd have this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Summer beer and a pioneering golden ale at least in England. Pure orange blonde robe, pleasant aroma of apple, pineapple, mandarin, honey, flowery hops, appetizing. Refreshing, soft and crisp, vivid palate, smooth, sweetish with a mild hoppy finish, very thirst-quenching. Delightfully elegant beer, I can easily imagine drinking more than one on a hot summer day.

Solid fare for a summer afternoon in a beer garden. Either a hoppy golden ale or a light pale ale. Good stuff.

Cask@ argyll arms London. Colour and texture just like filteret Apple juice. East Kent golding hops used as dryhopping but need more. Some Earthy notes. Taste smooth gentle not much bitterness. Dry finish not soho but soso.
