On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is very subdued, with bready malt and toasted caramel. Flavour is on the sweet side, with bready malt, toasted caramel and light brown sugar. Somewhat sweet, with a dry bready malt base. Decent. Frank (4265) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2017
This is a nice malty lager and not too, too sweet. It's a bit nutty with some caramel tones as well. It's a little sticky in the palate but nothing too bad. A bit of hop bitterness rounds thing out in the finish. OMatt0o () - Wellamd, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2017
Great tasting before and after taste. Very enjoyable! Hearty, yet smooth. azzurro (539) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2017
I thought this one was quite well done for an amber/scotch ale. Better than average for my taste.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2017 Ressemble plus a une rousse qu'une ambrée. Aucune balance ou subtilité, juste un goût de sucre/caramélisé.
