341 ml bottle. Pours a clear rusty orange colour with a small short lasting white head. Malty aroma. Slightly bitter. Mild caramel flavor with a dry finish. gildnerk (201) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - APR 30, 2014
Can. Pours deep orange with a plentiful, solid white head. Aromas of corn and malts, somewhat putrid. The taste is predominantly sweet with very, very little hoppy bitterness at the end. Oily texture. Wouldn’t drink again. MarkoNm (2933) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 24, 2014
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2015 Pours with a nice amber, towards golden, color, topped with a decent slightly off-white head with decent retention.
There is a very nice malty aroma complemented by some nice caramel and biscuity smell.
The taste is pleasantly sweet at first, slightly roasted in the body, together with some caramel feel. Finishes with a nice bitterness.
Easily drinkable, smooth and very enjoyable. bhajones (5) - - APR 17, 2014 does not count
This is an amazing well balanced beer. From caramel sweet to buttering hops adding a crisp finish with earthy tones it is extremely satisfying. LetsGoState (910) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2014
Appearance is small white head with deep brown color. Aroma is on the sweet side. Taste is some nice full malts. Overall a very solid beer.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a somewhat clear amber/red colored body, one finger white foamy head that dies within about a minute and leaves some super light cling lacing.
The smell had a nutty caramel malts in front and not much else.
The taste was mainly sweet through the malts, slightly nutty aftertaste, quick dry finish.
On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body, somewhat sessionable and the carbonation is smooth and ends up rolling nicely around the tongue and mouth.
Overall, its nothing spectacular, but nothing bad, worthy of coming back and probably even better with food. JDBaker11058 (2351) - Maryland, USA - APR 6, 2014
Appearance: orange gold with a short tan head. Aroma: caramel malts, light brown bread, some grassy hops. Taste: light caramel and molasses, some nuts and a touch of vanilla, with clean, earthy hops at the back end. Finish: clean, crisp, and pleasantly dry. Notes: A solid lager, but not spectacular when compared to something like Sprecher’s take. But still, not bad.

bottle - Light amber pour, one finger head... there’s a mild caramel malt aroma and a sweet, bready, caramel malt flavor. It’s medium bodied with mild hops bitterness. It’s straightforward and average at best. gramity (1684) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 30, 2014
Pours a golden copper colour with a fluffy head. Light malty and caramel flavour with a similar aroma. Medium bodied, decent lager. PorterPounder (8283) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 29, 2014
Tampa, Fl - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Pours a light copper with a soft, slight off white head that leave a thin trail of lacing. Aroma has some light molasses accents, some nuttiness, some odd ’fishy’ accents. Flavor leans to the sweet side, some caramel, some molasses notes, a touch of brown sugar. Mouthfeel has a decent texture to it. Not bad.
