When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

Pours an amber colour, witoh a creamy tow fingers head that holds for a long while. leaving a compact lace. Aroma of caramel, oranges, grains, herbs, spices. Medium body, with a creamy palate and good carbonation. Taste of caramel, oranges, nuts, toffee, witoh herbal notes. Really a good beer.

I was a little disappointed as my expectations were high due to the name of the beer and was expecting a more ditiguishied craft taste.

I bought this beer in Zurich, beer of the world. It is a correct lager, on the Vienna Style. The color is copper, thin and white foam. The taste is a bit metalic, but there is a pleasant side of malt, discreet touch of toffee and alcohol giving of small touch of whisky. At the nose, the sensation of alcohol and malt is present. It is a good lager for the winter.

Taste: sweet caramel malty notes, more bready than hop to this lager. bold malt grain aroma. Copper and clear in appearance. Delicate ringed lace. Medium?lite body. Easy drinking and mellow.

dark coppery color, almost brown with a light beige head, medium lasting. Aroma has notes of light dry fruits, light hoppy. Flavor is slightly bittery, light toasty. Light body with some watery mouthfeel.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 30, 2016
Lightly hazy amber color with some wild activity. Creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with strong legs. Aromas and flavors of caramel, grains, nuts, citrus, floral and herbal spices. Nice butter and bread nose. Well balanced flavors between sweet toffee and sharp lemon. Slightly grassy and earthy. Slick medium body with champagne like carbonation. Well intensified and moderately long finish, ending with a slightly bitter, while fresh, hoppy saaz with a sweet grassy feel. Overall a solid craft with balanced, refreshing, and pleasant flavors that are accessible.
