When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

23 oz draft. Dark amber with an off white head, and a sweet malt aroma. Great tasting with some sweet malt and hints of citrus.

Dark pour for an Amber Lager with spices and a little sweetness on the nose. The taste is mostly sweet malts with some light citrus but it has a nice and smooth finish. Good beer. And my 200th rating.

I enjoyed this - a hopped up amber. Nice cartoonish artwork. A decent drinkable lager.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of AdamT. Rusty orange pour with a short off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts reminiscent of most lagers with faint citrus. Taste is decent with balanced malt sweetness and light citrusy hops. Medium bodied. Decent overall.

Bottle: Unclear, amber coloured, small & stable pff-white foamy layer; fruity and toasty-caramelly nose with a mild hoppy touch and even traces of wine; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; short sweetish-toasty finish with a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice…

Canned. The body is brown, see through and the head is small. The aroma is like a standard lager while the taste is quite hoppy and refresh.

KoNrRiI (1489) - Århus, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2015
0.5 draft. Clear, light brown color and a small, white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, malts, and a touch of hops. Taste is sweet, malty, somewhat corny, hops are noticeable but not dominant. Medium body, slick texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is maltier than the rest. Overall, a standard, refreshing lager.

VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 18, 2015
473 ml can. Pours a slightly veiled orange-pale amber with a resilient white to beige head. Aroma is grass, caramel, earth. Flavor is caramel, malt, roast. Finish is earth, spice, grass. Lingering residual sugars. Medium body, soft and velvety mouthfeel, average carbonation.
