When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

Bottle. Light toffee malt aroma. Amber with large tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal/pepper flavor. Not bad.

Great tasting before and after taste. Very enjoyable! Hearty, yet smooth.

I thought this one was quite well done for an amber/scotch ale. Better than average for my taste.

Pint at the airport. Malt is faint. Clear copper it’s retained tan head and massive patterns. Lacking malt in the taste.

On tap at Montanas in Woodstock Ontario. Pours dark clear orange with a fine tan head. Aroma is subtle toasty malt. Flavour is malty with a full mouthfeel. Finish is slightly sweet.

Quick3Beers (1465) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 22, 2017
Pours a copper from a tap, light caramel aroma with some bread in the mouth. Okay beer.

341ml Flasche. Bernsteinfarben und klar mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Malzig. Leichter Körper. Süßlich.

First time drinker. Reminds me a bit like Yeungling which I love to drink in Florida

Craftakt (185) - Hannover, Lower Saxony, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2017
Von der Nase bis zum Abgang sehr gradlinig und konstant. Leicht herb würziges aber vor allem malziges Bier mit einer deutlichen Karamellnote. Der Geschmack verbleibt mittellang wobei eine leichte Süße mitschwingt. Null Bitteraromen.

Hop City Barking Squirrel is a great beer. Its a little on the heavy side (reminds me somewhat of Guinness) but overall a great beer. The only downside is the price. I wouldn’t get it all the time because of the price but picking up 15 to 24 tall boys once in a while isn’t that bad.
