When your brewmaster comes up with a recipe as good as this one, you let him name the beer whatever he wants. Here’s what makes our recipe so darn good: a rich burnt orange colour, darker than most lagers, a smooth, medium body with a bold, but pleasant, hop taste, full of flavour, unlike your traditional ’cold-as-ice’ beers with no taste, made with only the best ingredients, including Canadian & English Malts, and German & Czech Hops.

Clear bronze appearance with an average size, short lived, off white head and a fair amount of lacing. Subtle, grainy, sweet malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt taste dominated until a modest amount of spicy hops popped up in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Bottle from State Line.

Null Bitteraromen.

Hop City Barking Squirrel is a great beer. Its a little on the heavy side (reminds me somewhat of Guinness) but overall a great beer. The only downside is the price. I wouldn’t get it all the time because of the price but picking up 15 to 24 tall boys once in a while isn’t that bad.

Had this from a tall boy can with Marc. Hop City Brewing is in Brampton. Clear medium amber color. Malty nose. Medium mouth feel. Sweet caramel malty flavor but with a crisp finish. 5% alcohol. F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at J:Gallery inside of the M50 art district in Shanghai. Aroma is a little grassy with some malt. Taste is quite malty but only lightly sweet. Smooth texture.

Can. Clear amber body, medium beige head with medium retention and no lacing. Aroma of caramel, nuts, grains, mineral water and herbs. Taste of caramel, rye bread, peppercorn, grains and herbs. Great example of amber.

Dark orange amber with a sweet aroma. Carbonated with a medium head. It has some very nice sweet caramel taste to it without being overwhelming. A truly enjoyable experience.
