Bottle from Lenita - Clear brownish color, white head. Taste is citrus, fruits, grainy, all very moderate. Medium bitter. Okay.

Pours clear honey amber with a tall foamy off-white lacing head. Nose of pine, and citrus hops translating to the flavour. Includes some deep herbal, and burnt grass notes. Body is medium/high. Lots of carbonation. Alcohol seemed well hidden... but it is very warming. Puckering acidity. But its got a good amount of fruity, well toasted malts. Berries, icing sugar, pie crust. Pine, antiseptic. It isnt balanced at all. And sure, the hop selection is interesting... but its still pretty 2 dimensional. I keep forgetting how assertive this beer is. I rarely buy any. But, its ridiculously good for a Moosehead owned company. And, I think we can all be thankful that it has been left alone and not buggered up. It gets an extra point or two for that.

Golden color with small head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is bitter but not very strong. Nice IPA, but a simple one

Pours deep amber with a thick fluffy white head any German Marzen would be proud of. Aroma is citrus and toffee. Right away there are notes of bubblegum, followed by caramel, and blood oranges. There is a strong grassy, spicy hop aftertaste. Excellent mouthfeel, high carbonation by American standards. All in all pretty tasty.
