Pretty tasty Big IPA. Piney, malty, earthy...I guess dank too, but perhaps a suggestion from the name. Enjoyable wallop of an IPA.

Appearance: medium honey amber. Finger of white foam. Slightly hazy. Nose: hop forward with earthy, funky and a bit of pine. Light malt. Taste: good hop presence, of the earthy and funky variety but balanced. Only a touch of sweetness. Mostly dry with a fair amount of good bitters. Body: medium and fluid. Lively carbonation. Parting thoughts: I was looking forward to this installment of the hop concept series. I was expecting a bit more. I think it might be my least favorite of the bunch. The others are just so good. this one is trending towards above average.

22 once bottle. Medium gold color capped by a rocky beige head and clinging lace. Fragrant floral hop nose, with earthy, dank nuances. First sip brings intense bitter hops and grainy malt. Resiny, piney dank hop flavor abounds. Like rotten peaches, rotting in the summer sun. Hugely bitter throughout. Dry and bitter finish. Warming alcohol notes as well.

22oz bottle 3/8/17 (Binnys Montgomery)-33 in Shaker-Pours a hazy orange amber with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of hops, citrus, floral, and pine. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and downright tasty.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served displaying a clear, orangey/gold color, with a fluffy, soft white layer of froth, and waves & ribbons of foamy lacing. The nose was lightly floral, dank, pine, citrus, and a bit of pit fruit sweetness. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste was similar, offered a little tartness & tanginess to the palate, with lingering, earthy, citrusy, and rind-like bitterness, and a comfortable boost from the alcohol presence. Expectedly decent DIPA.

Bomber from Jackson Spirits. Poured a very good looking clear medium bodied deep honey amber under an average sized tight foamy light beige head. Aroma is super dank, rotting citrus, dough, buttered bread, bad orange marmalade. Medium to thinner body, softer carbonation and a big bitter bite on the finish. Flavor of lemon zest, grapefruit rind, orange marmalade, dry breads crusts, medium toasts, dry pine needles. Solid but not great.
