Available February 2015

Our inaugural release boasts aromas of citrus, and dank, resinous pine. As the flavor opens, huge notes of stonefruit and dank resin give way to a juicy malt backbone and drying hop bitterness on the finish.

Bottle picked up from Beer Gonzo (I think) consumed at Camping Trezulien, Douarnenez, Brittany, Saturday 17th June 2017 Pours warm gold with a white head, there is a light haze. After the beers of Breton this is something of a hop monster but gorgeous. Hoppy but underpinned with a nice blanket of sweet malt. Streaky, juicy, citrussy, bloody marvellous. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

I would’ve given this a 4.2 in 2011. On draft at the brewery, big piney dank flavors. Sweet, almost amber body. Thick and boozy. Bitter finish.

650ml bottle with two finger white head. Aroma is very dank with sticky hop resin, citrus, light pine and light tropical fruitiness. One could say it smells quite like SoCal. Taste is bitter with dank hops, hop resin, pine, citrus and light tropical fruitiness.

Pine bomb, pine city, pinier than a log truck loaded down with pulpwood headed to the paper mill. Nose offers up citrus, weed, and (all together now) pine, and the pour’s a masterpiece, amber gold topped by a massive white head and incredible lacing. Taste starts with a slap of orange-mango citrus, then grows a semisweet toasted malt middle before long stretches of floral and resinous hops turn the finish into a pinetree extravaganza. Fade is thick and clingy, massive bitterness refusing to budge from the palate. Nice DIPA.

12 oz pour at Ruckus Apex. Real good aroma, sweet. Fruity piney. Big citrus and pine scent. Clean golden orange color good head and lace. Fairly bitter just about as sweet flavor. Medium body thick creamy oily mouthfeel, fairly bitter pine finish. Classic west coast IIPA wonderful aroma and flavor.

Pretty tasty Big IPA. Piney, malty, earthy...I guess dank too, but perhaps a suggestion from the name. Enjoyable wallop of an IPA.

Appearance: medium honey amber. Finger of white foam. Slightly hazy. Nose: hop forward with earthy, funky and a bit of pine. Light malt. Taste: good hop presence, of the earthy and funky variety but balanced. Only a touch of sweetness. Mostly dry with a fair amount of good bitters. Body: medium and fluid. Lively carbonation. Parting thoughts: I was looking forward to this installment of the hop concept series. I was expecting a bit more. I think it might be my least favorite of the bunch. The others are just so good. this one is trending towards above average.
