Pours a dark caramel brown with an off white head. Nice aroma of roasted nuts and malts. Big bold flavors that fill the mouth and have a nice lingering aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

Tap at HF. Tawny-tinged dark brown with caramel bottom. Nose high in crystal, glassine. Taste the same, watery light body with very subtle fruit and caramel sweetness. Saving grace is big drinkability. [2017.05.26: 2.6]

StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2014
12 oz can. Pours a lightly hazy roan brown color with a big sudsy beige head that has good retention and crazy lacing. The aroma is mild with sweet malts, nuts and spicy-earthy hops. The taste is similarly earthy with peppery malts and mixed nuts. The palate was just a bit thinner than I prefer and the carbonation was soft. Finished medium in duration and dry. Overall: meh
