[ As Hop Kettle North Wall Bitter ].
ABV: 4.2%. Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel - roasted - toasted, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Taste is medium sweet and medium grassy and hoppy. Malty toffee notes, biscuit, grass, citrus, grapefruit and resinous hops. Bitter quite dry finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, residual pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light dry malts with a little unsweet toffee. Bitterish dried fruits and floral flavours. Dry finish. Standard stuff but clean.
