A remarkably light, crisp and hoppy alewith a hint of sauvignon. Maris Otter Pale Malt and Carapils provide a light malty base for intensely aromatic floral, citrus and gooseberry flavours of Chinook, Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops.

ManVsBeer (11167) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2017
Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a small head and a rubbery nose. It’s a light hoppy session ale.

rauchbier (3949) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2016
Bottle, from Co-op, Hessle. Faintly hazy gold, thin shortlived white head and gentle condition. Delicate fruity nose with muted hop resin, melon, lemon citrus and a slightly spicy yeastiness. Full bodied in the mouth with a dominant chalky hop bitterness with hints of bubblegum and citrus, faint pineapple and a little yeast. Finish is quite dry and bitter but kept in check by a little fruity sweetness.

Bottle from Beer52. Pours Golden, medium carbonation, half a finger head. Aroma of farmyard...put me off a bit....after some searching, found some lemon and pine. Taste is much better, loads of pine, loads of it, then some biscuity malt a touch of caramel too, then lemon and grapefruit, gooseberry too. Nice!

Sjohnh (1032) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2015
I poured this next to a bland pale lager for my wife and the two beers looked remarkably similar, except that the head lasted longer on the lager. Not a good start. Gets better though - there’s a bit of oily body to it, and a fruity hoppy aroma. Flavour has grass, pine and lemon, and a really nice bitter finish. Not bad for an easy drinking 3.5% beer.
