This is a sweet and simple lager that does have more body and flavor then PBR or BUD but is eight bucks a sixer. Nothing offensive about it, would make an excellent camping beer.

[ As Hop Valley 541 Lager ].
Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, light citrus, light fruity hops, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity hops, light grass, light vegetables notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
This beer is a pretty good standard but its kinda boring. I’ve had it in a can and on tap several times. Its good for watching football. Mr_Pink_152 (5005) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2015
Can from Favourite beer, Cheltenham. Pale golden colour with a thin head. Aroma tropical sweet fruit, tastes slightly over sweet. But on the whole a good lager. zacgillbanks (5179) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2015
Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy straw coloured with no head. It has a sweet malty, grassy and gentle floral fruity flavour, a smooth mouthfeel followed by a bitter-sweet earthy finish. Nice. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 11, 2015
Can - solid bready lager, though nothing that transcends the style. Slight hop bite on the finish is nice.

Can at home.. Golden amber.. Thin white head... Soft grassy fruits nose.. Grassy fruits.. Light herbal grassy fruits AshtonMcCobb (6604) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 27, 2015
Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - golden with a bubble haze. Decent wee head.
Nose - barley with lashings of lemonade.
Taste - big lemonade Radler type thing going on for sure.
Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - it’s a fruity lager that retains the main lager achievement of being refreshing. Therefore it makes me happy.
