Bottle. Pine resiny hop aroma with grapefruit hop citrus and some caramel malt notes. Pours cloudy orange colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with some caramel malt flavors as well as good grapefruit citrus flavor and acidity. Finishes very dry with bitter pine resiny hop flavor that lingers on the palate after each sip. Pretty nice. Beaver (1846) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours clear light copper gold with a big pillowy white head that retains well and leaves some lacingKevinReddirt (220) - Midland, Texas, USA - JUN 8, 2017
The aroma is sweet bready caramel malt with piney resiny hops and a little fruit.
The flavor is sweet caramel malt with some fruit and lots of bitter resiny hops that are slightly harsh. The mouthfeel is medium to fill bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a fairly well balanced DIPA.
I bought this in a bomber in Billings, MT and consumed it at Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone Park. It comes out a splendid yellow-amber fluid and gives a strong, long lasting white head that is replenished by some active carbonation. I smell pine needles (quite appropriate), biscuit and grain. The taste is just short of a hop bomb. I detect pine, grass and grapefruit with a mighty fine, lingering bitterness. Tip of the hat to the brewer. Enjoyed in the time and the place. jimlarkey (11) - - JUN 1, 2017

Clear dark gold pour with nice sized white head. Big nose of crips citrus and pine. Flavor is full of fruit with a touch of sweetness and just bit bitterness. Nice warm punch of alcohol on the finish. onceblind (10588) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2017
Brilliantly clear but deep golden with a slight copper tinge and a light spotty white cap. Brisk floral and earthy and bright citric zesty bitter nose with light citric bitterness and a touch of dank and light booze. Crisp and brilliant flavor that’s a tad piney and a little earthy but briskly bitter and floral and pithy and resoundingly flavorful throughout with American hop oils and bitterness dominating with a little dank and slight booze phenolic heat. Bold, complex, full and gorgeous. derA (398) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAR 19, 2017
tap @ tap & bottle: golden to copper color, fairly clear. Smell is not pine as advertised but more of a sweet strawberry and some grapefruit, quite a bit friendlier than typical NW IIPAs. Malt backbone is present but not overpowering. All in all missing a little bit of definition but quite nice.
