Six pack from Winco (labelled as Red Ale @ 6% ABV.) Copper colored body with minimal head. Aroma: malt first, hops second, metallic third. Taste follows in the same fashion, what the the metallic taste taking over the finish. It’s not huge, but the metallic finish is what you’re left with, and diminishes the whole experience. Part of a flight at the brewery with Dadbra. Sorry to compare to NB, but this is like a hoppy Fat Tire. Nice grapefruit tendencies, with a funny kinda phenolic clove dimension that came out of nowhere. Interesting. handlebar (18) - Chico, California, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Floral aroma, light copper color with medium body. Hops take a prominent role, but are held in check with a solid malt bill...
