Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent beige covering.
Nose is rich in dark fruitsm dates, toffee, light cocoa notes, nutty.
Taste comprises caramel, sweet tempered with bitterness, light hop notes, dark fruit rinds, dates.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Orange amber with a medium white head, good retention and lace. A big dark fruit aromas with brown sugar and citrus. Flavor is big dark fruit sweetness offset by big piney and citru hops. Poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness, sherry and light fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Tap @ HAF 2013... Poured hazy amber-ish orange. Pretty bitter and super hoppy for an "English" style barley wine. Some malt sweetness with caramel tones too. Noticeable booziness in the finish.

On draught at 2013 Holiday Ale Festival 12/07/13. Dark golden amber color. Aroma is citrus and caramelized hops. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, citrusy hops, and a note of pine bitterness. A fairly malty barleywine, not as intense as others.
