Dogbrick (14290) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2016
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and vanilla. Light to medium body with flavors of vanilla, chocolate malt and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a vanilla and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

jbruner (5448) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 7, 2016
Pours a deep brownish black from the bomber with thin wispy off-white head. Aroma of dark malts, mild burnt sugar, and a nice vanilla kick. Taste follows, but all pretty mild, if not a little thin on the mouth. Meh, not bad but nothing too exciting.

On tap at the brewpub in Eugene, Oregon. Opaque, essentially black body with a good head. Limited lacing. Attractive aroma with hints of toffee, dark bread and vanilla. A bit too much vanilla with less complexity than expected. Smooth, medium+ body and overly light carbonation.

slowrunner77 (13203) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 7, 2016
Vanilla and chocolate notes are nice, but I get the impression this would be a pretty weak porter otherwise. Body and ,alt profile do not stand out. OK.
