Ok porter. Benzai (15433) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll and Stefan @ Van Moll Brewpub. Red brown color, red glare coming through, medium sized off-white to beige head that leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma has strong vanilla, slightly roast and some malts. Taste lightly malts, vanilla, fortunately not that much that it becomes (Dutch) "hopjesvla" flavored. Body is average to medium, carbonation suits the beer. Quite well balanced. bhensonb (15077) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours very dark brown with a slight beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. Maybe some vanilla. Med body. Flavor is bitter chocolate with some vanilla. Gets a little earthy. Not sure about coffee. It’s bitter, but chocolate? coffee? hop? Can’t tell. Finishes well towards dry. bierkoning (13201) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2014
