BBD: not seen.
In short: porter with vanilla.
Did I enjoy it: it was smooth and pleasant, yes.
Pours quite dark with nice off white head. Moderate head retention, little lacing. Roasty, cocoa, vanilla, sweet nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is malt forward, roasty, cocoa, some vanilla touch, overall sweet with little dry finish.
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2017 Bottle @ Gekke Geit. Pours a very dark brown, blackish beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma has massive vanilla, touch of roast and coffee. Flavor is a bit milder on the vanilla side, stronger on the chocolate flavors and has a quite thin moutfheel. Finish is rather short, with a medium bitter roasty flavor. Quite nice! Bottle. Black colour with ruby reflexes, beige head that disappears after a while, decent lacing. Aroma is vanilla, roasted. Light bitterness. Medium body, medium bitterness. Pleasant, but not very intensive for a robust porter. Not worth its price in Europe. pivnizub (10731) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2017
Bottle: Very deep amber coloured with a reddish sheen, small but lasting creamy off-white head; bitter-sweet toasty, caramelly and chocolatey nose, hops and mineralic spots in the second row; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft ; lingering bitter-sweet toasty and coffeeish finish with kind of artificial vanilla aromas. Not bad, too vanilla-flavoured... vbaudry (153) - - MAY 26, 2017
A nice dark robe with a creamy foam.
Nose of milk chocolate.
The body is very very light and a bit watery, misses flavors. On the palate it’s all about chocolate and a creamy sensation. Finish is not bitter at all, on milk chocolate and hints of vanilla.
Vanilla is overall very discreet / missing.
If it wasn’t for the body that I find a bit too light and watery, this beer would be very excellent. It is very nice to drink and quite gourmand.

Bottle. Opaque deep brown to black. Moderate dence beige well-lacing head. Intense dark malts aroma with notes of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. Strong vanilla along. Citrusy hops in the background. light to medium body. Thin to oily texture. The flavour is rather dry. Rich malts. Roast, chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Additional brandy. Light bitterness. Long hoppy finish. Quite good. mbgrayson (789) - Anaconda, Montana, USA - MAR 3, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2017 Pours a dark brown with ample tan head. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Taste is hoppier than is typical of a porter, with maybe a hint of vanilla. This one is quite drinkable. seehaferb23 (281) - - FEB 6, 2017
I nice entry level Porter. This was on the hoppier side for a Porter. This was tasted by Cannery Row Beer Club. Cheers!
