Great beer, very smooth for a Porter Ale. Good with about everything. Can even use it as a vanilla float. Great aroma and appearance with a smooth taste. Overall a very good Porter. blackmurder (236) - Whitaker, Oregon, USA - JUL 9, 2010
Pretty much the best local beer I’ve had in Eugene. I can’t think of a more refreshing dark beer in my area. The aroma is very mild, hints of coffee, roasted charcoal and sugar. Very smooth and thin moutfeel that glides like silk. The flavor is what sold me. The vanilla is up front and honest, it isn’t a background flavor but something up front and pleasant. I recommend this one. bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 12, 2011
One of the best flavors of beer I have had so far. Vanilla and Porter, mmmm, a perfect pair, smooth and bitter at the same time. Kita (2243) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAY 5, 2016
Bottle, 0.65l, shared with Hoppiness crew. Pours dark brown with medium soapy tan-like head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, white coffee and caramel. Tastes starts with moderate sweet roasted malt, follows by smooth and milky vanilla with caramel note, mouthfeel is silky, while finish is light bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Excellent dessert beer... mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUN 5, 2015
Good. Non-sweet. Vanilla notes present. Slight bitterness at the backend. Flavorful for the ABV.
