Draft to tulip at HopCat. Looks good; a fairly transparent brownish-orange with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes of nicely balanced hops with a sweet but good backbone. Nice and smooth on the palate. Enjoyable. JaBier (8156) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAY 27, 2013
Glass at Hop Cat on 3/29/13. Clear red pour with a thick beige head. Malty and citrusy nose with some pine in there as well. Flavor starts malty, but quickly moves to grapefruit and orange with some pine accents before a bitter grapefruit peel finish. Very well done. deaconmike (470) - Roswell, Georgia, USA - APR 9, 2013
On tap at HopCat in GR. sweet aroma with grapefruit. Taste is fruity, smooth and hides alcohol well. Light bodied for an ipa, but not unpleasant. Nice Dipa, not overly bitter, but plenty of hoppiness. Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2013
Enjoyed on tap at HopCat. Served in a tulip.
A: Pours a dark ruby color with one finger height of white foam forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thin cap. Splotchy, sticky lace is left down the glass.
S: Very fruity. Tropical fruits. Some mango and papaya. Stone fruit and berries. Pale malt sweetness.
T: Sweet booze with a candied grapefruit. A little zesty with some floral notes as well. Fresh red apples. White bread malt sweetness.
M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation level. Really easy drinking for the ABV. Fruity sweetness on the finish.
O: Really easy drinking and light bodied for the ABV with a nice array of fruity flavors. Solid offering from HopCat.
