UPDATED: FEB 3, 2018 From a 330ml bottle on 20/12/2017. Not sure of the appropriate category for this. Described as a white stout, so will stick with stout. Pours a clearish medium golden with a small head. The aroma features some coffee, fermenting fruit and sweaty socks. In the mouth, the quite a pronounced coffee flavour, some citrus fruit, white wine, nutmeg and the barest hint of smoke. Not overly sweet and finishes with a relatively sharp, zesty bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. I love Hopdog's spirit of adventure, which inevitably leads to some moments of crash and burn. This is crash and burn. Just an odd, odd beer that doesn't come off on any level.
