190715. While I hadn’t been mowing the lawn before I had this beer it still went down very well, even though it was quite a cool night. I purchased this bottle on line from Beer Cartel and it was a very good beer.
This is a beer that I had heard a lot of good things about but had not been able to get my hands on a bottle until now. All the qualities of a good Belgian ale without the high alcohol content.
In the glass the beer looks good with a colour that would do the the brightest sunrise proud. While the foam was not substantial there was still enough to sit nicely on top of the beer.
Rockmelon and peach in the aroma and this transferred into the flavour which had quite a lot of fruitiness to it. There was a long dry finish. This is a beer that is easy to drink. Dervock (1441) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 2, 2015
Bottle - pours hazy gold with a white head. Fruit and citrus aroma. Lots of citrus taste. Mild dry finish. Palate is a bit thin. StevieT (2039) - AUSTRALIA - APR 11, 2015
From a bottle. Very light and refreshing with a dry fruity finish, this would be dangerous on a hot day. hawthorne00 (4111) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2015
Bottle, 8C. Hazy golden amber with a modest white head. Aroma of hay, lemon, cloves. Light bodied. Hay, tangy wheat, some apricot, rather prominent cloves in a dry and fairly bitter finish. Hits the spot on a hot night. Maris (1585) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JAN 24, 2015
From a 330ml bottle on 24/1/2015. Pours a very cloudy golden with a small to medium head. Has a slight yeasty aroma with a hint of fruit. Taste wise, it delivers biscuity malt, some sweet citrus fruit, lots of Belgian yeast, and a firm, very dry, satisfying, slightly puckering bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is a very refreshing, quite distinctive brew which would make a fine thirst quencher on a hot summer’s day.

330ml bottle. Clear orange appearance with a medium sized white head. Nose offers mildly spicy yeasts on a light pale malt bill and mild citrus hops. Palate is light and refreshing with a medium sweet and fruity flavour profile and a lovely dry finish with low bitterness. Does exactly what it says on the box! mezwebb (7) - - JAN 10, 2015 does not count
Very drinkable, good session ale, crisp and fresh, delicate after tastes - mellow ShaneJ (910) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 24, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2015 Bottle from Beer Cartel (January 2015). Clear amber/gold, candy sugar, Belgian yeast characters, melon, citrus, spices, very drinkable. Nice. bluevegie (3938) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 31, 2012
Almost clear golden body with lasting white head. A little spicey in the taste with not a lot else going on, easy drinking, simple, what I expect from a belgian pale ale.
