Nose is tart raspberries, hints of oxidation, and oak but very crisp and tart.
Taste is tart raspberries, oak, subtle rum. wheat. Crisp, tart slightly sour.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique May 2013. Red raspberry colour as you would expect with a sweet aroma. In the mouth it is sweet as well with a dry tart finish. M_Sack (735) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle. Cloudy, deep amber with a reddish tinge and billowing white head. Huge raspberry aromas, both fresh and jam like, along with breakfast juice and rum. Tart fruit and sour wheat followed by a big boozy, rummy hit. The wheat neatly intertwined throughout the whole beer, leading to a long finish. The alcohol coats the mouth and warms the chest like a good rum should. Heavily, yet perfectly carbonated. Unusual, but thoroughly enjoyable. Love these guys. Groundbreakers on the Australian scene. A raspberry rum barrel wheat. Hazy tan. A bit lively, the fruit is big on the nose, but hardly on the palate. A bit thin, malts drop out. ShaneJ (896) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle from Plonk. Bright, slightly hazy golden with the slightest tinges of pink, amazing aromas, fruit, yeasty, boozy, oaky, flavours more of the same, spritzy carbonation, warm alcohol finish. Really nice with strawberries and cream for dessert.

Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, a lot of yeast, vanilla and some oakiness. Taste is medium too high sweet leading to a yeasty and fruity finish. Highly carbonated. Had high hopes for this one but it fell short a little. Not bad, though. Maris (1531) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 24, 2013
Froma 330ml bottle (a bit of a gusher). Pours a clody dark golden with a huge foaming head which disappears quickly. Has a strong tart raspberry aroma, with some boozy notes. This follows though in the flavour, with masses of raspberry, tart citrus, and warming rummy finish. The body is medium, and the carbonation (as seems to be the HopDog way) is too high. Quite interesting (as is also the HopDog way) but a little odd. Still, I love that these guys are clearly intent on putting out unusual brews and enjoy pushing the envelope. Davros (3208) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 29, 2013
Pours ruby-tinged amber with a very large head.
Nose shows dominant raspberry with some soft doughy wheat. Mainly just raspberry though.
Flavours of rum, booze, coconut, raspberry. A bit brash and disjointed. Too much hot booze.
Much too much carbonation. Jessop (207) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 22, 2013
Bottle sample from Brewery. Excellent raspberry aroma, winey with some Brett character. The Co2 is spot on, it explodes on the tongue, champagne like. The mouthfeel is smooth slightly dry and it finishes long with plenty of raspberry and warming alcohol. Excellent interpretation of a Belgian classic. imaragingbull (572) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 15, 2013
Bottle pours hazy golden orange with what looks a faint pink tinged big light head and some lace, disappearing down to a good ring around the edge. Big inviting fresh fruity raspberry and light hints of vanilla, rum and some raw wheat notes. Zesty carbonation, light body, complex characters of vanilla, rum, wood and tart raspberry and wheat. Finishes lightly tart, raspberry notes lingering along with woody undertones. Maybe a bit much for me. Interesting and creative brew nonetheless.
