Bon travail!

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Minderbinder, thanks! Split with the Québec crew.

Appearance: Clear pale golden with a medium white head, ok retention and little lacing.

Aroma: Quite fruity and chardonnay forward along strong boozy and phenolic presence, peppery notes and hints of butter.

Taste: Quite sweet and really fruity with the chardonnay shining through and adding to the fruitiness. Some spiciness from the Belgian yeast as well and again quite a lot of alcohol and phenolic presence. Moderate bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. A bit oily. Fruity and boozy finish. A bit too harsh for my liking.

Overall: Nothing is really off here, but that is really boozy even for a tripel. The fruitiness from the belgian yeast and from the chardonnay barrels are doing a fine job together. It’s quite spicy as well. Not a masterpiece of balance, but it’s not a bad beer.

Bottle 750ml. Pours blond with medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of chardonnay, belgian yeast, fruits. Taste is of slight acidity, alcohol, chardonnay, some bitterness, belgian yeast. Palate: Medium body. Light carbonation. Overall: A tad too boozy. Not alot of finesse. Good.

Bottle shared by Minderbinder, thanks bro! Pours a clear golden with a small white head that readily sticks to the glass and leave nice lacing. Nose is of peppery alcohol and yellow fruits. Pils? Anyway, pretty close to the average tripel. Taste is of sweet fruits and peppery alcohol, slight pears impression. Body is medium, carbonation too and it is just a touch too boozy for its own good. Overall a good tripel, not much barrel influence though.

bottle shared by minderbinder, thanks bro. pours hazy very light golden with a creamy white head, nicely lacing. chewy honeyed cereals, white grape juice, pineapple, booze, sweet grass, yeast. average carbonation, medium body - oily; slightly harsh spicy-woodsy-citrusy finish. mellowing grape musty/woodsy fruitiness. nice.
