Bottle. Dark brown, no real head though. Slightly more bitter than regular dunkel, but still malty sweetness and some caramel and banana. Pretty decent. Lele (556) - Padova, ITALY - NOV 15, 2015
Birra tranquilla e senza troppe pretese, comunque beverina e dissetante. Sentori citrici e leggermente maltati. Il retrogusto è quasi assente, ma anche per questo ripulisce bene la bocca, senza però regalare emozioni. SinH4 (6121) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - AUG 9, 2015
Brown-amber color with nice tan head. Aroma is bananas, spicy yeasts, caramel. Taste is similar, but a bit too light, the silky full Weizen mouthfeel does not come through ideally. A bit too watery, and too much sweet caramel in the back. Carbonation is rather low. Not a bad Dunkelweizen choice though, super drinkable. Bottle. Clear dark amber color, off white head. Aroma of caramel and hazelnuts. Taste is malty caramel, light bubblegum. OK. ronaldtheriot (1978) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Hopf Dunkle Weisse has an extremely thick, foamy, beige head, a hazy, lighter brown appearance, with bubble streams, and heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of spicy, brown bread, and the flavor is of the same, with underlying tap water and low bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Hopf Dunkle Weisse finishes semi-dry and dull. RJT

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a dense and lasting beige head. Aroma of banana and caramel. Fruity taste of banana, caramel and roasted malt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. The finish is sweet with a roasted flavour. Rasmus40 (21695) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2014

Etwas wässerig, Malzbote harmoniert nicht mit typischem Weizenbier Geschmack.

Bottle on the train from Freising to Regensburg, Bamberg post Christmas jolly day 1. Pours hazy auburn with a big, fluffy light tan head. Toasted wheat abounds in here with further notes of banana, brown sugar and caramel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet with light dry bread and caramelised sugars. Decent.
