Bottle (from Rewe Freising), on the train from Freising to Regensburg, Bamberg post Xmas jolly day 1 - 24/01/14. Murky chestnut brown with a good sized light beige head. Nose is light nana, toffee, brown bread. Taste comprises toffee, banana, brown sugars, vanilla. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bready malt notes in the close. Decent Dunkleweizen.

Bottle share on a train tasting on Bamberg Jolly day 1 24/1/14. Cramel brown coloured pour. Cloudy with a lasting cream head. Aroma is banana, yeasty dough. Flavour is sugar caramel, bready malt and some rye bread. Some sharp acid in the finish. Pretty tasty. Medium body and high carbonation.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Very hazy dark amber beer, tidy pale cream - tan coloured head. Palate is light and airy, semi dry. Mild caramel malt. Floral banana and a touch of cloves and dried fruits. Dry finish.

Malty caramel flavor, roasted, caramel, dark bread, banana notes. Quite nice.

50cl bottle pours a murky cherry cola color with some thin, off white head. Nose is pumpernickel bread, some fruit cake, a little dried cherry, some straw, a little light smoke, a little mushroom. Flavor is a nice mix of dried fruit, raisin, dried cherry, and malt, wheat, straw, bread crust, earthy. Slightly sweet finish. Solid.
