Pitchblack, very small off-white head. Loads of coffee in the aroma but also some bitter chocolate and roastiness - not much of the promised hops - same could be said about the taste which seems to be dominated by a stange sourness that somehow seems wrong (I Wonder if this was just a bad batch). Some coffee and chocolate as well. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2014

Bottle. Pours jet black with a medium brown head. High roasted aroma with licorice, chocolate, cocoa and light hops. Roasted flavor with light licorice, cocoa, dusty hops and has a high bitter malty finish. Does not taste like 12% abv. worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2014
Hue sort of black silky smooth roasted imperial stout that makes me think of De Molen. Solid black with a disappearing ginco brown head. Smells of deep roast, liquorish and coffee. Smooth silky body. Tastes of rich malt with lots of dark chocolate and a nice bitter roasty coffee finish. A fantastic stout that covers the 12% alcohol perfectly and should be bought in numbers and aged. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and something sweet i can´t put my finger on (berry´s?). Taste is slightly bitter with a kind of sourish dry bitter aftertaste. Interesting brew although I can´t say I enjoyed it. thewolf (12592) - Kolding, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2014
Bottle, bought @YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours deep opaque black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has soy sauce, chocolate, hazelnuts, a touch of smoke. A light berry touch. Medium carbonation, very dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good roasted malts, licorice, a touch salty and smoky. Softly vinious. A fine drink. Iznogud (3800) - CROATIA - JUL 6, 2014
